This intensive will be co-taught by Gloria Hessellund and Meg Butler.
In 1976 Gloria began her association with Marion Rosen as Marion’s client, and subsequently as her student, co-teacher, and colleague. Gloria has taught extensively in California and Europe for many years. Gloria is excellent at guiding students to notice subtle changes in muscle tension and shifts in the breath, and she is an amazing, eloquent spokesperson for Rosen Method.
Some of Meg Butler's words about Rosen: "When we feel our feelings, we can connect to the things and people that are important to us and we can move toward what is important to us bringing more meaning into our lives. Our feelings become a precious gift when we stop hiding and let ourselves be seen."
Meg Butler began her Rosen Method Bodywork training in 1994 with an Introductory Rosen Method Bodywork workshop in Santa Monica, took two years of course work through Rosen Method – the Berkeley Center (1995-1997) She became a Certified Rosen Method Bodywork Practitioner in 2001. She is a Certified Rosen Method Bodywork Teacher, Rosen Method Introductory Workshop Teacher, Certified Rosen Method Movement Teacher, and a member of Rosen Method: The Berkeley Center faculty.
Rosen Method is grounded in the physical reality of the way the body functions, and also reaches the emotional and spiritual aspects of being human. The insightful teachings of this course on the body/mind connection will result in a profound impact on your personal and professional life. The Intensive is one component of a complete training program in Rosen Method bodywork. It is open to both career-track students and those who are interested in personal growth. The course runs Saturday to Saturday, 9:30am to 4:30pm, with Wednesday Jan. 31st as the day off.
