This is a special opportunity to come together in person to study, renew, and rekindle your connection to Rosen Method. In this course we will use the power of touch, words and awareness to discover the body's wisdom. The Weekly class provides a container for the intimacy of this exploration because the body doesn’t lie. The course is designed for people who want a fuller connection with the body and for students working toward certification as a Rosen Method bodywork practitioner. The ongoing weekly class invites a relaxed continuity of learning and connection that is woven into the rhythms of daily life, which can sometimes feel missing from the concentrated learning of the Intensives.
Sara Webb was Marion Rosen’s first student and was her colleague at the School for many years. Sara has been the executive director at The Berkeley Center since the school was founded. Sara brings extensive experience in guiding students to a deeper understanding of the body’s language.
For over 25 years Charity Martin has been teaching bodywork and somatic therapeutic work to individuals and groups through her private practice in Rosen Method Bodywork and Somatic Experiencing Trauma Resolution in San Francisco. She has also worked closely for many years with John Welwood in his psycho/spiritual groups. She is a certified Rosen bodywork teacher in this course. Hurray! She finally made it! All these influences inform her passion to help people find openness, workability, and trust in their own lived experience.
We are excited to offer this class, and invite students, interns--and even practitioners--to re-engage with the inspiration that first brought them into the sacred shared circle of Rosen Method. For those who have previously completed the Rosen training, this class is offered at a 40% discount.
"The body shows the clearest what we try to hide the most." Marion Rosen
