June 4 - 11 Rosen Method in Community & Nature: Bodywork Residential IntensiveTuition: $2,100 ($1,975 if registered before May 14) Give yourself the gift of a week living and breathing Rosen Method! The Residential Intensive offers a unique opportunity to live and learn in an environment of transformation and community. Here the cares of the world fall away and you will find continuous support for personal growth and possibility. A daily practice of Rosen bodywork and movement helps you find a pathway to who you truly are. Marion Rosen's legacy is a somatic discipline that is internationally recognized for its contribution to understanding mysteries of mind/body connection. Taught by Sara Webb and Meg Butler. June 15 OPEN HOUSE: Making a Difference with Rosen Method1 - 4 pm$35, or bring a friend for $60 The afternoon includes a talk from our Director and Senior Teacher, Sara Webb, about the benefits of Rosen Method and how you can find balance in these turbulent times. Rosen Method bodywork and movement can help you become more aware of your body and be more in touch with your feelings. After an introduction to Rosen Method and an opportunity to ask questions, participants will enjoy a bodywork session and a movement class. Limited space available. All are welcome. June 16 ONE-DAY INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOP: Explore the Mind, Body Connection10 am - 5 pmTuition: $90 Explore the body-mind connection through movement, demonstrations, and hands-on work in this one-day workshop taught by senior teacher Sara Webb and co-teacher Regina Wells. This workshop is an opportunity to learn about, experience, and practice Rosen Method. Rosen Method is a gentle, yet powerful form of touch and movement which assists people in opening to long-forgotten experiences and feelings. The one-day workshop will be of special interest to those who are massage therapists, nurses and psychotherapists. It is also intended to benefit people from all walks of life who want greater physical and emotional aliveness and more access to somatic awareness. July 13-17 Rosen Method Movement Weekend and IntensiveJuly 13 - 14 Rosen Method Movement Weekend10 am - 4 pm Tuition $225 ($250 if registered after June 23) Come to the first 2 days of the Movement Intensive and find out if it's for you. July 13-17 Rosen Method Movement Intensive 10 am - 4 pm Tuition $590 This 5-day workshop is a chance to experience and enjoy one's full potential for movement and get a general overview of the principles of Rosen movement. It counts toward certification as a Rosen Method movement teacher. Taught by senior teachers Theresa Garcia and Karen Peters. September 14 - 21 Rosen Method Bodywork Fall Intensive9:30 am - 4:30 pm This course is one of the modules that make up the Intensive training in Rosen bodywork. Students may take the course for personal growth or professional development. All are welcome. Theresa Garcia and Jane Pittsinger are recently certified bodywork teachers and long-time faculty members of ROSEN METHOD: the Berkeley Center. The learning experience will be amplified by these teachersŐ ability to interweave their extensive knowledge of anatomy and movement into the bodywork teaching. Weekly Rosen Method Bodywork Training - October 2013 to May 2014Wednesdays through May, 2014, 4:00 - 9:30 pm This course will use the power of touch, words and awareness to discover the body's wisdom. The teachers combine theory with demonstrations and practice-teaching in a supportive learning environment. December 7 - 14 Rosen Method Bodywork Winter Intensive9:30 am - 4:30 pm Bill Samsel and Gloria Hessellund return as the traditional teaching team for this special holiday season Intensive. It is a time to go deeper and discover the meaning of touch and connection in our lives. This course is one of the modules that make up the Intensive training in Rosen bodywork. Enhancing body awareness, Rosen Method creates an avenue to freely access the emotions and the spirit. For first-time participants, an application process is required.
