Tuition $540.
This workshop is an opportunity to experience and enjoy one's full potential for movement and get a general overview of the principles of Rosen Method movement. Counts toward certification as a Rosen Method movement teacher. Taught by Theresa Garcia and Kate O'Shea. For first-time participants, an application process is required for registration.
February 23, 2010: Weekly Rosen Method Movement Teacher Training Begins
Tuesdays through June 2010. 4:00 - 9:30 pm.
Tuition $1620.
This weekly training course offers participants the
opportunity to explore and learn new movement patterns. The teachers combine theory with demonstrations and practice teaching in a
safe, supportive learning environment.

An opportunity for newcomers to talk to practitioners and students and to see videos of Marion Rosen. Drop in for a FREE movement class at 3 pm. Reserve a time for a bodywork session by calling (510) 845-6606.Sessions are $25 and must be prepaid to hold a space.
March 4 - 7, 2010: Holistic Anatomy with Cadaver Lab
9:30 am - 3:45 pm.
Tuition $475 ($440 if registered by Feb. 12).
This workshop taught by Teri Katz and Jane Pittsinger
is a multi-sensory experiential exploration of the mystery and complexity of the human body/mind. It is valuable as continuing education and
as personal growth, regardless of previous knowledge of anatomy. Both Teri and Jane are Rosen Method practitioners and physical therapists.
They enjoy making the language and knowledge of anatomy accessible, meaningful and practical. Fulfills prerequisite for participation in
Rosen Method training programs.
March 5 - 7, 2010: Rosen Method: Accessing the Unconscious Through the Body at CIIS
March 5, Friday evening lecture/demo, 7 p.m. Fee: $10. Open to the public.
March 6 - 7, 2-day Workshop. 10 am to 5 pm. Cost: $235 for entire weekend including Friday lecture
Taught by Marion Rosen and & Sara Webb. This workshop teaches the basic tenets and practice of Rosen Method bodywork; specifically how to interpret the meaning of muscle tension and to support the release of that tension through gentle touch. Students will discover how muscle tension, breath, and body postures interface with emotion. They will also explore areas of body wisdom that are hidden from conscious awareness.
